Amazing Celebrity Dads

There’s nothing sexier than a Dad with his kids. These celebrity fathers are the icing on the cake. Cuteness level epic! To celebrate Father’s Day, I’ve rounded up some amazing celebrity Dads… gentlemen, you’re doing it RIGHT.

“I really am [a house-husband]. But I love it. I’ve been lucky, I’ve always been able to take the boys to school in the mornings and pick them up and make them dinner and things like that. So I do even more of that,” he said.

“I’m able to take all three of the boys to school and then I take Harper to her school for a few hours and then pick her up. I’m kind of like a driver at the moment, I’m always in the car.”

Whatever you think about the Brangelina Incident (as it will ever be known) Brad Pitt has guts. In his interview with GQ he owned all his mistakes and was very humble. We all make mistakes as parents, he was self aware enough to own his and for that he makes my list of Amazing Celebrity Dads. Recently he took Chris Cornell’s children out for the day. He reached out to them in their time of need and that’s a beautiful thing.

No celebrity dad list would be complete without Coldplay’s Chris Martin. The Coldplay frontman earned serious dad points when he invited his nine-year-old on stage last year during a gig in order to wish him a happy birthday. Wish that all divorced parents could get along as well as Chris and Gwyneth. Seriously, they put the kids first and that is all our parenting goals.

Elba most loves “the magic of watching their personalities form uniquely to them,” he told PEOPLE magazine.

“And watching them form on things that you and their mum have taught them and things they remember, that is really truly human magic.”

“They teach you,” he told the TODAY Show. “It’s crazy. … Watching him learn things, this new appreciation for both of them — you know, her and him — and so it’s humiliating, and it’s humbling at the same time.”

Fatherhood has not been without its challenges for the One Direction band member, as he has recently filed for joint custody of his baby son as his time with the six-month-old has been “inconsistent.” He opened up about missing Freddie in a recent interview saying: “I miss him, obviously, but it’s cool. I do get Father’s Day now.”

I can’t have an Amazing Dads list without adding Barack Obama.

Obama is extremely proud of his résumé as a parent. He boasts of having read aloud with Malia all seven volumes of the Harry Potter series; in his first fall in office, he also managed to read all of Yann Martel’s “Life of Pi” to Sasha. But performing as a head of household did not come easily to him. As this supremely self-confident man acknowledged in 2006, “It is in my capacities as a husband and a father that I entertain the most doubt.”

“I am a black man who grew up without a father, and I know the cost that I paid for that,” the president told a panel on Overcoming Poverty at the Catholic-Evangelical Leadership Summit held at Georgetown University in 2015. “And I also know that I have the capacity to break that cycle, and as a consequence, I think my daughters are better off.”

And perhaps the funniest and coolest Dad around is Gordon Ramsay. You may disagree. You may have heard rumors and gossip that he’s ‘mean’ or ‘overprotective’. From what I see, he’s a fun loving father who gives his all to his kids.

Their first child, Megan, was born in 1998 and she is preparing to celebrate her 18th birthday next week.

Tana has previously spoken about Gordon’s relationship with his daughters, insisting he is a protective father who wants nothing but the best for his girls. She told The Telegraph: ‘For both of us it’s always been about family. People have this impression of Gordon that isn’t the man I’m married to.

“When Megan brings a boy home you can see in his eyes he’s terrified, but Gordon will be the first to make him feel at home.”
