My Mission: Wear Less Black This Winter

My mission to wear less black continues!

After interviewing Theresa Fowler about her book ‘Feel Like Sh*t’ we got talking about wearing black and how it can be an easy option especially when you’re not feeling body confident or when the weather grows colder.

Bright colours really are mood lifters, and if you’re not feeling too good about yourself whatever the reason wearing black can leave you feeling invisible. So my personal mission to reduce the black clothing continues and after sharing this on Twitter I received a tweet from colour analyst Denise Estcourt – I’m definitely going to get my colours done!

A few weeks ago I mentioned that I was on the hunt for the M&S pink coat but in my eyes it was against the standard autumnal colours. I was scouring their online shopping site and as I work opposite The Pantheon Store on London’s Oxford Street I was dashing in there every day before starting my show.

My eyes popped open last week when I saw a row of the coats and one in my current size.   BINGO, not only did the coat fit but it was right length too!

However, when I got to the counter one of the poppers came off. The assistant although very apologetic mentioned that this was a regular occurrence and the coats were being returned.  Such a shame!!

So my mission for an autumn coat continues but if you have one of these coats and are quite happy with it I would love to hear from you.
