Jenny Priestley tells us about the stars to look out for this week.

On Monday the stars will be out in Hollywood for the annual Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon.

Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Leonardo DiCaprio, Judi Dench, Meryl Streep, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Julia Roberts, Tom Hanks and Brad Pitt are just some of this year’s nominees expected at the event.

On Tuesday George Clooney will be in London for the UK premiere of his new film, The Monuments Men. He’ll be joined on the red carpet by co-stars Matt Damon, Bill Murray, Jean Dujardin and Hugh Bonneville.

Colin Firth attends a special screening of Oscar-winning film, Shakespeare In Love on Thursday. It’s in aid of the Tricycle Theatre in Kilburn and a Q&A follows the film.

Friday sees the start of London Fashion Week so expect a whole host of celebs to be gracing the FROWs and attending the numerous parties.

En Vogue and Mint Condition take to the stage at Wembley on Saturday for the RnB Superstars concert.

And if all that wasn’t enough, on Sunday it’s the 2014 British Academy Film Awards so Hollywood will be in London en masse.

This year’s event is hosted by Stephen Fry (hurrah) and will begin with a performance by Tinie Tempah and Laura Mvula. Dame Helen Mirren is to receive BAFTA’s highest accolade, the Fellowship, from the Queen’s grandson Prince William.
