Fabulous Fashion For Any Age

Can you really wear the same clothes as your daughter or mother? Yes, you can – and should. Fashion is finally crossing the age divide, as my daughter Kammie and I found out this week.

We are constantly hearing in fashion that there aren’t any rules and while that may be true, there are a few guidelines one might want to consider following: Pay attention to color, shades and hues, and keep length in consideration — whether it’s a skirt or a pair of pants. And remember: Always opt for a flattering fit! Additionally, keep in mind that trends in moderation can be easy and fun. After all, fashion and great style are for everyone!

Sometimes the right style can vary from person to person, body type to body type, or even from differ based on age ranges. The question always remains “is this appropriate for my age”?!?! My daughter and I tried on similar outfits, with different cuts of the same style dress and the fashion fits… its not about what you wear as how you wear it! We can learn how to dress trendy no matter what your age!

Off the shoulder is IN this year. Everywhere you look it’s gorgeous summer kissed skin baring beautiful collar bones and daring shoulders.

Long jackets are ever so stylish. As Autumn quickly approaches, it’s the perfect time for some back to school shopping. As you can see, even though the jackets are fundamentally the same the cut and style is different. Kammie is adorable with her little flouncy front panels. My jacket is a straighter classic cut which is much more flattering to my figure.

Sleeveless jumpsuits? How could we resist. Kammie tried on a sportier cut whilst I went for a bit of a glam look. Who doesn’t love red right?

One of the highlights of my afternoons off this past week was spending time with my daughter. We found that we had more in common in regards to fashion and that we ROCKED our outfits!

So have you ever worn a similar outfit as your daughter or mother? How were they different? How were they the same? I’d love to hear your thoughts on FacebookTwitter, and Instagram. Let’s talk about it!
