Is Lupita Nyong’o headed to a galaxy far, far away?

According to reports Lupita Nyong’o had a meeting with Star Wars Episode VII director JJ Abrams about a leading role in the new movie. Nothing has been confirmed yet but the role will be a massive career boost to her if she gets it.

Meanwhile Brit stars John Boyega and Ed Speleers are also thought to be in the running to play the film’s male lead. Boyega is a star on the rise in Hollywood and is filming a new biopic about Jesse Owens at the moment. You’ll probably recognise Speleers from his role as flirty footman Jimmy in Downton Abbey.

The Other Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 premier in London

There’s news of two high-profile premières happening in London next month.
Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton will be there to promote their new comedy, The Other Woman, on April 2.

Then on April 10 London hosts the world première of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 with stars Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone expected on the red carpet.

Graham Norton’s releasing a new memoir

Graham Norton is to publish a new memoir on the theme of love. The book is called The Lives and Loves of the He Devil and will be his first memoir in 10 years. It’s due for release in October.

Fame returns to the stage, sort of

Fame is headed back to the stage in the form of Fame Forever, a new musical set 20 years after Fame. The show will have its première in London on September 8 before heading out on a UK tour.

Macy Gray and Tatyana Ali are to star in a new romantic comedy produced by Queen Latifah.

The film is called November Rule and follows a guy who decides to break-up with the woman he’s seeing every November. But then he realises he’s let the woman of his dreams go. A release date is still to be announced.

Jamie Foxx and Kevin Hart in talks for new film

Jamie Foxx and Kevin Hart are in talks to co-star in new film, Black Phantom.

The plot follows a double-crossed mob hitman who enlists the help of the Black Phantom, the same African-American hitman who had been sent to kill him.
