It’s been hot. HOT-hot. So hot that I’ve even set aside my wigs for a time or two, especially on my recent trip to the beach! With the record-breaking heat comes the enemy of ALL hair types and styles… FRIZZ!
From ultra-fine to coarse and curly, all hair types are prone to frizzing up in the humidity. There is good news… there are SO MANY anti-frizz products out there, some all natural – others created scientifically to banish that bushy hair!
My team of Angels and I were discussing this quite extensively and agreed that Frizz is the enemy of the summertime. Check out angels Abi and Amy and their before and after using Frizz control products.

Here’s how I deal with the summer frizzies!

GHD Smooth & Finish Serum, £14.95
An affordable favourite, Oil Infinite uses marula and babassu seed oils to smooth and hydrate the hair as it cleanses. A little goes a long way, with a larger-than-life lather.
If your hair is prone to frizziness as the day goes on, replace your hairspray with a smoothing finishing serum (that can also be used as a pre-blowdry treatment) to keep your hairstyle in place.
Matrix Biolage SmoothProof Shampoo and Conditioner, £14.95, Matrix
Banish frizz for good, with this favourite from Matrix. The camellia properties restore the locks’ smoothness, helping tame frizz and restore brilliance. Paraben-free, this low shampoo should be your go-to on bad hair days.

Aside from the delicious (and totally addictive) scent of Aussie shampoos, the Frizz Miracle is exactly that. So if you’ve got naturally cur-rizzy hair like I do, this shampoo will become your best friend after just one wash.
By repairing your hair from the inside-out, using a trademarked formula, this leave-in milk will keep your hair safe from breakage and frizz, while speeding up your blowdry and adding shine. It’s a high-shine topcoat for your tresses.
John Freida Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Repair Shampoo, £6.99, Superdrug
Probably the most well known of the anti-frizz movement. If your hair is stressed from styling or dyeing, you’ve used this product with great results. Frizz Ease helps repair the damage while giving hair a sleeker, smoother look. Plus, it has that salon smell, minus the price-tag.
