Love the dip dye trend? You don’t have to stop at your wardrobe and hair. Interior design expert, Toks Aruoture, shows you how to incorporate the ombré look in your kitchen.

So dip-dyed hair is all the rage amongst celebrities – actually, it would appear anything with this ombré effect is in vogue.
Not surprisingly this growing trend has made it into the home so I went in search of the tastiest, most visually gratifying dyed pieces.
First stop was John Lewis, where I only just discovered that Peter Jones or John Lewis orders can be delivered to any John Lewis or Waitrose store, which is very handy.
This colourful tableware range will dress up the most minimalist of kitchens. It’s the pop of colour we’ve all been waiting for, literally
saluting you as you make your entrance into the kitchen for your morning coffee.
I found the aptly christened dip dye mugs on Tesco.com. They literally look like each one was grabbed by the handle and steeped into a bowl of paint that turned out not to be deep enough, or that it was deliberately dyed only to the halfway mark. You may find yourself studying the uneven lines while drinking your coffee – the lines only add to the authenticity. Ok I’ll try not to get carried away as this is after all a Tesco mug – but don’t you agree that they are pretty?

The challenge that Le Creuset brings to the table (excuse the pun) is the inability for one to make a singular decision regarding which colour to pick. You have to admit that even if you hate green with a passion, you will fall in love when a green Le Creuset casserole stoneware throws itself at you.
I stopped over at Heals last week, Heals is always such a source of inspiration and dare I say, there really is something for everyone. My browsing extended from their King’s Road branch to their website where I spotted this elegant Bitossi pitcher. Bitossi is an Italian brand that creates stunning dinnerware in the yummiest of colours. The Bitossi Broca Pitcher is available in other colours and can be ordered from Heals.

There is such an array of beautiful, colourful dinnerware and you can choose to have a single colour throughout or mix it up. Either way it will dress up your kitchen beautifully and make cooking a joy!
