Coinciding with the 71st anniversary of the landing of the Empire Windrush on the shores of Britain, the hit biopic ‘HERO’ will begin a week of special event screenings in cinemas across London starting on June 22nd, at the RItzy, Brixton at 6.30pm
Inspired by the extraordinary life and times of Trinidadian war veteran, lawyer and diplomat Ulric Cross, the film has received rave reviews following its premiere at the British Film Institute on May 18th.
Actor Rudolph Walker, of EastEnders fame, said: “I was proud to play a part in this amazing film about the life of a man who I have always admired and when the opportunity came up to assist in promoting this film reaching a wider audience I jumped at it”.
