The film Hidden Figures is based on a true story that has touched many hearts and souls. Three female mathematicians – Dorothy Vaughan, Mary Jackson and Katherine Johnson were the brains behind the momentous task of sending astronaut John Glenn into orbit and guaranteeing his safe return.
