Presents they’ll want to show off on Instagram

Oh, how I miss the days of babydolls and chocolates.

My daughters are no longer babies. Adults and in college(!!!) And while you think it would be easy to give them things they “need” while at Uni (like food besides Ramen), it can be difficult to find meaningful “fun” presents.

If you thought shopping for teens was hard, just know that it gets harder. Try shopping for a young adult!

With little ones, it’s so much easier to please. Even teens know what they want most times. But young adults are a whole different story.

They will no longer be satisfied with a scooter or a video game — their wishlists are likely geared more toward hobbies and trends, like a camera for vlogging. (Oh YouTube you really shouldn’t have.)

Finding something they’ll enjoy for longer than a month can be tricky, but you don’t have to give in to the “gift card in an envelope” temptation!

My top picks for the young adults in your life!

Nixplay Digital Photo Frame

Share photos and videos from your phone or by email to the Nixplay frame, wherever it is; A great gift for new parents, grandparents, newlyweds, college kids or families separated by distance.

For the reader… a Kindle!

Meet the all-new Kindle, now with a built-in adjustable front light so you can read indoors, outdoors and at more times of day. Purpose-built for reading, Kindle features a glare-free touchscreen display that reads like printed paper, even in direct sunlight.

Who wouldn’t love a pair of Beats by Dre?

The Beats Solo3 Wireless is a well-built wireless headphone that sounds good in both wireless and wired modes and is relatively comfortable to wear for an on-ear headphone. Its battery life is best-in-class (40 hours) and has a remote control built-in to the right ear cup that’s easy to operate by feel.

SUNGLASSES. WITH A SOUNDTRACK.

The Bose Frames Audio Sunglasses are the answer to the question: what if your sunglasses were also a set of smart, hidden headphones with no earbuds or no bone-conduction system, just a set of personal speakers?

(Just so you know… I will accept these sunglasses as a present also! TYVM.)

And if ALL ELSE FAILS??? Get them a subscription box!

Think it’s too late to give a classy personalised gift that your friends or family will adore? Think again. Think SUBSCRIPTION BOXES!
