REVIEW: BLACK|UP Sublime Powder

I shared some Black|Up purchases I made last year, and one of them in particular, deserves some standalone attention.

I’m forever on the lookout for products which give my skin a glow. I’m not overly keen on cream products, finding them sometimes difficult to work with, and tend to prefer powder products which promise to make me glow from within, with little effort.

The Sublime Powder is one of my most used powder products. I can’t get enough of it.  Available in five shades, this pressed powder works as a highlighter which compliments your skin tone perfectly. It can be hard work finding a highlighter that doesn’t appear ashy on dark skin and the Sublime Powders are formulated according to yellow/orange/red undertones to give an incredibly luminous result.

This doesn’t leave a glittery finish, instead favouring a silky smooth radiance which blends into the skin seamlessly. It looks great applied on its own all over as you would a bronzer or as a highlight as a finishing touch. It also has an oil-free, fragrance-free and paraben-free formula. I have it in shade 3 (NPS 03).

The Black|Up range is quite pricey, but if there’s one product you should splash out on, then may I recommend that it’s the Sublime Powder. I can’t think of a similar product, from another brand which it’s comparable to, but please let me know in the comments, if there is something similar out there.

For now, this remains firmly on my repurchase list and I have an overwhelming urge to purchase another shade alongside the one I currently own.

How much is it?£26.50
