30 Years of LCGC

I was surprised – and happy – when I received a call during the week from Andrea Encinas, one of  the founder members of the London Community Gospel Choir (LCGC) alongside Basil Meade.

Andrea has asked me to host their 30th Anniversary celebration at the Royal Festival Hall on the South Bank in May.

I have followed the work of LCGC for years and am so looking forward to being a part of this memorable event. The choir have sung all over the world, for kings, queens, politicians, churches, you name it, they’ve done it, so to be a part of their 30 year celebrations has really made me so happy.

Keep Sunday 5th May free in your diary, it’s going to be an historic event. For details and tickets go the the South Bank Centre website. Looking forward to seeing you there!
