Monday and Wednesday of last week I was charged up and raring to go for the Dress for Success Awards.
Power of Women is an annual celebration of women and their achievements, recognising individuals who inspire others to succeed, organised by charity Dress for Success Greater London.
Surprisingly, as the Keynote Speaker of the Dress for Success Awards, I felt a little strange! “Why do you feel weird Ang, you talk every day?” says one of the Board Members of the Charity. “Yeah but I’m sitting in an empty room talking to myself in the hope that people are listening… there’s over 100 people in the room and they’re all staring at me hoping that something worthy is gonna come out of my mouth”.
And I’m glad to say that I got a positive response to my talk on #BalanceForBetter, the theme for this year’s International Women’s Month at the Dress for Success Panel on Wednesday.
