From the dining to the art, exquisite hotels to the sailing, Saint Lucia was absolutely amazing!!!
It really is a blessing to have friends, or at least one friend, on so many Caribbean Islands. The last 7 days in Saint Lucia have been exquisite, peaceful, tranquil, fabulous and hot!
The Marigot Bay Marina, Resort and Spa is tucked away (you really could drive past it) and is the place to be if you want to disappear and take advantage of pure relaxation.

Dining on Day 1 took me by surprise, the menu was 4 small courses of local food and involved wine pairing! Having not really drunk alcohol since Christmas I slept well that night!
The Rum Tasting Course gives you a chance to sample about a tablespoon of each category of the local rum, Chairman’s Reserve. I don’t normally drink spirits so as you can imagine I was laughing loud and uncontrollably by the end of the session with Alvin.
Looking for the ‘Skirt’
Walking along the Marina to admire the yachts and taking a boat over to the private beach is a must.
You cannot possibly spend time at the Marigot Bay Marina, Resort and Spa without having a full body massage. The tingling mud from the Sulphur Springs infused with essential oils in a full body wrap with foot massage made my day. Didn’t realise how tired and tense I was.
When that massage was over I slept like a baby. Think I’m gonna start incorporating massage as part of my regime alongside getting my nails and feet done!
