Who needs a gym when you have two arms, two legs, and a torso?
We all know working out will make us healthier, stronger, have less stress, more energy, and live longer. So then why is it so hard for us to stick to a programme and go to the gym with consistency? Over the years, with my super busy schedule, I have found working out at home to be far more effective.
Advantages to working out at home:
You can workout in your pyjama pants, sip coffee, and wear your glasses.
No one is there to even see what you’re wearing, and you can save yourself the painful experience of shopping for the latest workout spandex clothes!
During your rest periods, you can jam out to your tunes, and even practice the new line dance, hip hop or two step.
You need a mind-muscle connection. That’s where your brain can actually SEE the muscles working. Almost like “seeing is believing”. It’s truly the most effective way to get the most from your workout. The more of your body you can REALLY see, the better and stronger the mind-muscle connection. If you wouldn’t ever bare your tummy at the gym then in the privacy of your own home……..Bare it all.
Working out with limited/no equipment means you have to get creative, and for that you have to get educated. Spending time getting educated means you are even more invested in your workout time.
Can you really get a great workout without leaving the house? Yes you CAN!
You don’t need a gym membership to melt that unwanted flab and look fit. In fact, you don’t even need equipment.
