In all the years of listening – and dancing – to “Somebody Else’s Guy” by Jocelyn Brown I still can’t believe that my first opportunity to sit with her face to face was presented to me just before Christmas!!
Jocelyn is constantly working and performing, and in December 2012 she released her new record, Christmas EP With Jocelyn Brown & Friends. She worked alongside artists including the powerhouse of a singer that is Carleen Anderson, the nostalgic but ever young Melba Moore, and the British Tenor that we know, and love, Russell Watson.
Jocelyn and I met at the Mango Tree restaurant in Belgravia, but Christmas parties were in full swing so our intended filmed interview didn’t happen. But Ms Brown, being the professional that she is, came to the studio the following Saturday were we talked and talked and laughed.
