2017 Met Gala

One of the premiere fashion events of the year is the Met Gala, bringing the wild and wonderful world of fashion to the forefront.  This year’s featured designer, Comme des Garçons designer Rei Kawakubo, has been a pioneer of the cutting edge of fashion and art for well over 40 years. He’s brilliant, in his way, but many of his outfits are unwieldy and difficult to wear. Which is why it was surprising to me that he was to be honored at this year’s Gala. It sure made for an interesting red carpet!

Some celebrities brought their A game to the celebration and some missed the point. All in all it was a night to remember. As I scrolled through social media some of these ladies really stood out, so I wanted to share my pick of a few interesting dresses with you!
